UHUBSO Volunteer of the Year 2005

UHUBSO Volunteer of the Year Award recognizes each year one person for their exceptional and outstanding commitment, creativity, and enthusiasm as a volunteer, and for their valuable contribution to sustainable human development in Somaliland.
 
The award winner have shared his ideas, time, energy and expertise – made a positive difference for the organisation and other NGOs,  working in Somaliland, and have supported them in their efforts to help achieve their goals
The winners' profile offer inspiring example of the diverse ways people can take an active part in the work of development organizations in Somaliland.
 
UHUBSO Volunteer of the Year Profile

The winner of UHUBSO Volunteer of the Year 2005 is Ahmed Ali Hassan (adami) who tirelessly runs the uhubso erigavo office. Ahmed has volunteered to help uhubso to achieve its goals which is mainly human development and sustainable development in Somaliland he has engaged in about 15 assignments during the last three years. Most of his assignments have been related to education, sport, agriculture and health service
Ahmed has single handedly managed all uhubso activities in Erigavo for the last three years successfully.
